Today, Transak is incredibly excited to announce that we have been approved as a registered Cryptoasset Firm by the UK's FCA (Financial Conduct Authority). This is a huge milestone for us. Transak is the 30th firm in the world to receive this license. The registration is done under our UK subsidiary 'Light Technology Limited' and can be found at

This license will help us towards our goal to build and improve our product, becoming the best tool for developers to bring mainstream users to crypto in Web3 and Web2 apps.

Despite being granted a license, this doesn't change any of the actual processes we already have in place since we were already complying with our AML and other regulatory requirements, and we had secured a place on the FCA's temporary register before.

This is the first step in Transak's main goal of becoming a worldwide cryptoasset provider. We are already working on expanding our license coverage in the US and other territories.
