Transak Now Supports Google and Apple SSO for Faster Sign-In

The first step in any crypto transaction shouldn’t feel like a speed bump.

Transak has always supported a passwordless sign-in experience via email OTP, making it easy for users to access their account without managing passwords. Now, we’re adding more flexibility to that experience.

Transak now supports Google and Apple Single Sign-On (SSO), giving users an additional way to sign in faster, while ensuring email OTP remains available across all environments.

What’s New

Users can now sign in to Transak using:

  • Continue with Google
  • Continue with Apple
  • Continue with Email (OTP)

This helps users access Transak in fewer steps, especially on mobile and during repeat transactions.

One Account, Multiple Sign-In Options

Account Matching: Same Profile, Same Email

Google and Apple SSO works seamlessly with existing Transak accounts.

Your Transak account is tied to your email address, so when you sign in using Google or Apple, you’ll be signed into the same profile associated with that email. This ensures a consistent experience across devices, sessions, and sign-in methods.

Email OTP Remains Available Everywhere

Google and Apple SSO is an added option, not a replacement.

Transak will continue to support email OTP sign-in across all placements, and it will remain the default option wherever SSO is not supported.

Availability and Integration Notes

Google and Apple SSO are supported on:

  • Direct web link integrations
  • iframe / Transak SDK integrations hosted on *.transak.com (same-origin)

Google and Apple SSO are not supported on:

  • iframe / Transak SDK integrations embedded on cross-origin partner domains, due to browser security restrictions
  • Mobile app WebViews, due to platform restrictions from Google and Apple

In unsupported environments, users can continue to sign in using email OTP, as usual.

Why This Update Matters

For users, Google and Apple SSO improves sign-in speed and convenience, helping reduce delays at the start of the journey.

For partners, it improves onboarding performance for supported integration surfaces, while maintaining reliability through email OTP across all other placements.
