How to find the right crypto conference for you
The first step to choosing the right crypto conference for you is to figure out what kind of information you want. Do you want to learn more about blockchain technology? Do you want to meet other people who are interested in cryptocurrency but don't know much about it — or are you looking for a team of devoted degen hackers to co-found your next big idea alongside you? Events exist for developers (i.e. hackathons), traditional finance, or “TradFi” professionals, influencers, artists, creators, and investors.
Are there any specific speakers at this event that are interesting and worth hearing from? Once you've figured out your interests and gotten a sense of what kinds of things will be discussed at each event, then it's time for the fun part: researching.
Learn about the best crypto conferences to attend this fall
It's important not just to look at pictures of previous conferences or review their websites. Actually join the community Discord channels and Twitter Spaces of one or two events before deciding which one you’d like to buy tickets for. You'll get an idea of how well-organized and engaging those events were through speaking with other attendees and experiencing them virtually.
If nothing else, this process will help prepare you for the kinds of events out there (we admit, it can be overwhelming!) and help you start to decide.
👋🏽 We’ll see you there! 👋🏼
Please contact us if you’d like to say hi to Transak IRL at one of the above 2022 crypto events we’ll be attending.
Still looking for the best crypto conferences? We recommend checking out this comprehensive crypto event spreadsheet by Crypto Nomads Club for more ideas. Pick your top three, then hit up your friends on Discord and Twitter to let them know you’re going!
And if you can’t swing travel in the last half of 2022, remember there are plenty of other ways to learn about cryptocurrency. Follow Transak on Twitter and sign up for our email list to stay in the loop about upcoming TransakTalks and virtual events.
